Add Completed course to Student records (PAST/Withdraw)

Modified on Thu, 18 Jan at 10:09 AM

Situation

You have a student who needs to have added to his completed courses a course that he just completed. The student is a Past student or a Withdraw student.

What you must verify Was that course completed within the Student enrolment dates (Entry & Exit dates)

Option 1: Yes

Option 2: No

Solution

Option 1Because the course was completed within the Student enrolment dates, you can add directly the Courses in his Completed courses. Following those steps:

1) Student records > Search (checked PAST/Withdraw) > Achievement > Completed courses > "+" > Add Course code with the earned credits, date and all the required information > SAVE

Also, if a student was missing a Courses to graduate, you will need to assign a Diploma. Following those steps:

2) Student records > Search (checked PAST) > Achievement > Graduation requirements > Diploma > Edit > Add the required Diploma information > SAVE

IMPORTANT: Dates need to be with his enrolment dates (see note above)

Option 2Because the course was completed after the Student enrolment dates. As example:

If his exit date was July 2023, and his course was completed in September then you should not end the student enrolment.

  1. You will need change the Student status to an active one (This year only or This Year and Next year)

Then add the completed course following those steps:

Student records > Search (checked PAST/Withdraw) > Achievement > Completed courses > "+" > Add Course code with the earned credits, date and all the required information > SAVE

3) If required, add the Diploma following those steps:

Student records > Search (checked PAST) > Achievement > Graduation requirements > Diploma > Edit > Add the required Diploma information > SAVE

4) If required, change the Student Status.
