OTIP MPL – Class and Plan not pulling into Reports

ISSUE: Class and Plan are not configured appropriately and Class is not pulling into OTIP MPL Report. 

FIX: This issue typically means there is missing configuration that needs to be reconciled before the fields will populate as expected. 

Steps to Resolve

GOAL: Class and Plan need to be configured (and match) under both Board Control > Benefit > Benefit Carrier Code Maintenance module and Board Control > General Tables > Employee Group Maintenance module. 

Board Control > Benefit > Benefit Carrier Code Maintenance

**Ensure Plan and Class field are populated as desired**

Note: Class field is greyed out and is not configured in this module. This value pulls from the ‘Class’ field under Employee Group Maintenance module. 

Board Control > General Tables > Employee Group Maintenance

**Ensure Class and Subdivision 1 (Plan) are configured and match Carrier Code Maintenance**

Benefits > Generate HRIS File > OTIP > TEST

POSITION FILE

**Note that Class field generates under ‘Classification’ in the Position File**
