Trying to change dates in Calendar but it's greyed out

If you have permission to make changes to the calendar but when you try to make the changes the option is greyed out 

Go to your account permission and make sure the following permission is NOT checked. 

Main menu> Security>accounts> edit> permissions 

You can now add/modify/ remove days in the calendar.
