MPL Reporting Best Practice for LTO in June
GOAL: To provide a wholistic overview of the best practice to maintain in June when reporting MPL Files to OTIP to ensure that LTO’s remain on the MPL File for the duration and up to their End Date.
Root Cause: Stored Procedure script NonTerminatedMemberData there is a condition which checks the AsOfDate, if it is between the Position Start and End Date.
Since the Occasional Positions typically end at the End of June – the record is left out as the AsOfDate during June, is generating to the equivalent day in July.
FIX: For the month of June only, users can simply update the auto-generated AsOfDate to be the last working day of the school year in June (in this example; 2025/06/27).
Configuring the AsOfDate as last working day in June, will allow the LTOs to pull into MPL for the duration of June – as expected.
IMPORTANT NOTE: For the rest of the year, AsOfDate does not need to be updated, it can simply auto-generate and be left as is.
