Trying to remove a grade from the board you may encounter the following error message, the message will indicate student(s) in the school either have the grade listed in current school year or it's listed in the next year class information. This article will go over how to search the grades and how to update the students record so you can remove the grade from board level.
1. In this example I am trying to remove grade 9 from an elementary school, when I click edit and try to remove the grade, I encounter the following error message.
2. It's important when an error message appears that you click "SEE DETAILS"
3. The error message indicates the grade is in use and can't be removed.
You can run a quick report at the school to indicate what students have the grade linked, this is normally a next year grade and not current grade situation.
