You need to go into:
Setup > Attendance > Excursion groups > GO > Click on the "+"
Then:
(1) Give a title to the Excursion group > (2) Define a teacher, if required > (3) Define an expiry date, if required (can be the end of the school year) > (4) Modify the search criteria depending on the needs > (5) Search > Then select the name > SELECT > (6) SAVE
After the Excursion group is created, it can be used with any Search criteria when printing lists.
