HRP 5.1 Original Start Date Input not Valid Error under New Position
ISSUE: When attempting to enter a new position for a new user, error “OriginalStartDate [The input was not valid] is presenting when attempting to change.
FIX: Ensure the employee has an Original Hire Date that precedes the Start Date for the Position being entered. Confirm Employee is Active and that there is no additional improper configuration under Employee Information.
Steps to Resolve:
Staffing > Staff Management > Employee ID > Employee Information > Employment
Ensure Activity = ACTIVE
Ensure Original Hire Date is not NULL
Choose Edit and make any appropriate changes to correct and populate the necessary information, then choose Save to update your changes.
Staffing > Staff Management > Employee ID > Employee Information > Personal
Ensure there is no fields throwing an issue within the system
