EDAS Process Overview

GOAL: To provide a wholistic overview of EDAS Process, setup, configuration and how to review the generated file. 

 

Configuration Page: 

HR > BOARD CONTROL > EDAS REPORTING

**Values come hard coded within the software for this module** 

Note: Users can update the values here should they require to do so. 

This provides flexibility for the users to make changes and Trial and Error new test results under the EDAS report. 

 

The above fields are Filters, like in Excel, by adding new values, you are further filtering the data to be included in EDAS Report. 

 

BOARD CONTROL > GENERAL TABLES > MISCELLANEOUS CODES MAINTENANCE

**All of the different codes are broken down and defined in Misc Codes Maintenance**

Note: For the most part, the Miscellaneous Codes Maintenance code setup is apart of the Code and will be automatically inserted and created.

**Codes can be further reviewed by choosing a Code Type**

 

Reporting Page: 

HR > BOARD CONTROL > EDAS REPORTING

Note: End Date will default to the End of the Month for the Quarter that is selected. 

However, the End Date can be modified to 15th of the following month, when the Report is created.

 

IMPORTANT NOTE: Reporting Period = Q4 will create the report for the Entire Year as shown by the automatic Start and End Date.

GENERATED REPORT:

REPORTS > PROCESS REPORTS > EDAS REPORT

**Generated File is .csv format**

**Users can open the Excel and Review Data to validate**

Note: Ensure that all Numbers are 3 Digits. 

Example: Number = 8, should display as ‘008’

 

Note: Whenever there are leading zeros on a Numeric Value, ensure the ‘ is prefixed to ensure the leading zeros are not automatically removed via Formatting. 

  • This arises with small values, Example 8, that need leading zeros to ensure value is 3 Digits at least
