Absence Batch Not Posting

Modified on Fri, 27 Oct, 2023 at 12:02 PM

ISSUE: Absence Batch Not Posting. Error: Arithmetic overflow error converting int to data type numeric.

When this error is happening when trying to post an Absence Batch means that the calculation for the Days Not Paid is overflowing its maximum value or 9.99999.

FIX: Under the Absence Management > Employee Absence Transaction Entry screen, find the batch that is having issues and review the values on the Credit Loss Override column

Any that is too high is the cause of the issue. Once you fix it, you will be able to post the batch with no further issues:
