Pay State Maintenance - K212 Stuck in Pay State ENTITLE

ISSUE: When running Pay, the error 'Access Denied. Current Pay State is ENTITLE' pops-up.

When this error happens, go to Payroll\Pay Process\Pay State Maintenance, choose Reset Pay State to Yes and Save to take you out of Entitlement.

Description

This function is used to change the Pay State indicator from 'CONFIRM' or 'PAYRUN' to 'ON HOLD’ so that you can perform some of the pay process functions which were previously blocked by the Pay State indicator.
This screen cannot be used/accessed if the Pay State is SCHEDULE or PURGE. only a Yes / No option for resetting the Pay State will be available, based on the following table:

Step 1.  Modify the ‘Reset Pay State?’ field in Screen Element 1
Step 2.  Press the Save button
